MEET Palo Santo! Spanish for “holy” wood, these sacred trees have been used by indigenous people of South American cultures for its healing properties and for cleansing their homes from negative energy through incense or smudging. Smudging is burning a palo santo stick to fill the space with its aromatic smoke that purifies and helps restore balance and tranquility. Palo Santo has been used by shamans during ceremonies to clear negative energy and purify the spirit. It is also used as incense by churches, hence the name 'holy wood'.

Palo Santo's aroma is divine! It is one of the most fragrant woods you’ll ever smell with its unique sweet, citrusy, woodsy and a bit musky scent. Woods from fallen and dead Palo Santo trees are gathered and distilled to produce pure and potent essential oil.
